5/23: The nutrition staff at Valley Middle School of STEM and Southview Elementary in the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan School District were awarded as winners of the 2026 Hero Site Award. Read the Hometown Source's article to learn about this exceptional 14-member team.

5/13: Luke Fenton, a student nutrition services associate at Lincoln K-8 Elementary School, received the 2026 MSNA Hero Award. Read more about Luke in the KIMT News 3 article.

5/12: Mankato Area Public Schools’ summer meals program was featured on KEYC News Now, highlighting expanded meal access through the addition of food trucks serving the community. During the interview, Darcy Stueber, Director of School Food Service for Mankato Schools and MSNA Public Policy Chair, discussed the importance of helping children stay nourished throughout the summer months.

3/18: MSNA members met with U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar to advocate for school meal programs during the Legislative Action Conference (LAC) of the national, nonprofit School Nutrition Association. Read more in the Tri County Canary's article.
