The SNA Board of Directors recently approved an increase in national member dues, which goes into effect on October 1, 2018. As part of the governance changes passed by SNA’s Delegate Assembly in 2015, national member dues increases may only occur every other year and increases cannot exceed 10%.
This dues increase allows SNA to provide and sustain enhanced member benefits, including strong advocacy, the award-winning School Nutrition magazine, access to the latest news and trends in school nutrition, and high-quality professional development resources to help members meet and exceed USDA Professional Standards annual training requirements.
In 2018-19, SNA members can look forward to more free educational webinars (live and on-demand), free access to the 2019 SNA Virtual Expo, which includes over 20 videos of live education sessions; and free access to SNA’s Food Allergy Resource Center. In the coming months, look out for SNA’s new members-only Learning Center launching where members can expect high quality ethics training, tips for training adults, financial management resources, procurement resources and culinary skills training.
