Early bird registration for the Stars Skills Camp is March 31st. Registration is limited to 60 attendees per site and you want to make sure you get your registration in early. First Come, first registered!
MSNA Stars Skills Camp is a one day training for members to work on basic skills to use in the kitchen. Camp dates and locations are May 2nd in Eden Prairie, MN and May 16th in Bemidji, MN. Attendees will work in the high school kitchens at each site. Training will be in Knife Skills/Safety, Herbs/Spice Blending, Low Sodium Soups, Whole Grains and a bit of Food Science mixed in. Attendees will use the new skills to create their meals with a “chopped challenge” We will be working with Chef’s from General Mills, InHarvest, Apex Commercial Kitchens and Karlsburger Foods and Chef Steve Riley, Eastern Carver County Schools. A great opportunity for hands on training!
This training is open to 60 participants at each site. First come, first registered.
All attendees will receive Key area hours and if registered by April 15th will receive a commemorative T-Shirt. Early bird registration cost is $150.00.
