SNA National Director of the Year is from Minnesota!

MSNA is proud to announce that Sherri Knutson, Director of Rochester Schools, Rochester MN has been chosen as the School Nutrition Association’s National Director of the Year!

Sherri Knutson works for the  Rochester  Public schools. In her years as director she has brought many amazing changes to her district. Changes that can be seen  and felt throughout her district.

Education and professional development is a core of her beliefs. She has a desire to advance student nutrition programs locally and nationwide.  She considers staff development critical to the success of her nutrition program and she values MSNA and SNA educational opportunities. She is SNA certified and SNS credentialed.

Sherri is also a  SNA & MSNA Trainer and brings fun to her training sessions. She has been a long time member of SNA/MSNA. Sherri is a past state president (2007) and has held many positions at the state level and on the chapter level.  She is currently serving on the SNA Nutrition Committee and is  involved in the MSNA mentorship program  as a mentor and as a committee member for the MSNA Trainer Network.
