Various school nutrition curriculums and training tools/opportunities can be accessed from the following websites. Some tools are designed for independent training, some are curriculums designed for teaching in a group setting. In addition, some training materials can be downloaded free of charge while some must be purchased.  If you find a tool that you are interested in and need more information about it qualifying for SNA Certification credits, please contact SNA at 1-800-8877-8822 X2.

“Food Service Basics” training intended for charter schools and small sponsors.  This is a “crash course” in administration and operation of a school food service program intended for new sponsors or new employees.  3 hour webinar

“School Meals Certification for Additional 6 Cent Reimbursement.”  This 2-hour webinar session introduces the menu certification process necessary to receive the additional 6 cent per lunch meal additional reimbursement, and the Excel templates that must be utilized. This is an introductory overview of the certification tools and menu certification process. 

“6 Cent Menu Certification Process.”  This is 1-hour webinar that provides training on how to start entering data on the required USDA menu certification Excel documents in order for sponsors to receive the additional 6 cent lunch meal reimbursement.
