Chapter 27 – Straight River

Waseca will be hosting the April 7th meeting.

Our instructor will be Karen Pfarr, a staff member in the language arts department of the Waseca School District.  Karen is also a speech team coach and drama director. She will be doing a presentation on improving communication in the workplace, e-mail etiquette, conquering nerves when speaking, nonverbal communication in interactions, and public speaking.  Her presentation will include both an instructional session as well as an interactive workshop.     (2 hours of Key Area 4 have been applied for)

Place: Waseca Junior High School, room C-133, 400 19th Ave NW

Time: 4:30pm – 6:30pm

Directions: from Hwy 14…Turn onto MN 13/State St N., go approximately 1.2 miles. Turn left onto 19th Ave NW. the Waseca Junior High School is on the right. (if you are on 16th Ave. NW and reach State St. N. you have gone about .3 miles too far
